Have you received a traffic summons to appear in the Associate Circuit Court, Division II?  If it was a speeding ticket, the trooper may have given you directions explaining how to take care of the fine and court costs before your court date. For other minor traffic offenses you may contact this office in advance of your court date for an early resolution.

For any traffic summons, you must appear at the date and time on the summons if you have not paid your fine and costs before your court date.

If you wish to discuss your case, you may call the prosecuting attorney’s office, but your speeding ticket will not be reduced to avoid adding points to your driver’s license. We do not reduce traffic tickets to non-point offenses.
