If You Are A Witness In A Case

If you are subpoenaed to testify in a case, please come to the courthouse 20-30 minutes before your scheduled time. The courtrooms are located on the second floor of the Audrain County Courthouse.

You will have a chance to talk with the prosecutor before you testify. If you have a question or problem regarding your testimony, you may call our office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays.

If you will not be needed to testify at the scheduled date and time, you will usually be notified beforehand. Sometimes the defendant will choose to plead guilty or waive his right to the hearing at the last minute. We will do our best to contact you as soon as we can.
